Question I was thinking...

I was thinking about making a new guild soon. I already have enough gold to buy the guild, cape, and hall. I know it requires a lot of waiting for people and that i need to have smart officers. But i still dont know if i should do it or not. i have tried one before but it failed horribly but i am willing to try again. So, what should i do? make it or not?

I suggest you read through Maltare's tips (sticky in this subforum), and try to see where you went wrong last time. Having a succesfull guild is hard. Expect to see times where you spend 2 hours in your hall trying to get things right (been there), but also times where everything goes very well and smoothly (been there as well). Lead by example, and don't promote anyone that comes along. Rather, see who is suitable after a period of time. Good luck!

First of all...

You can not make a guild.

You need to have one form around you... nuture it further and then watch it grow.

The fact your willing to try again is a good sign =) I would reccomend if possible getting a friend or two to help you. Officers are the key Good Luck =)

I agree with the above posts, having a guild is a huge responsiblity, getting members and keeping them, thinking of what type of guild you want to be. Just being the top dog on the roster won't get you anywhere, you need good officers that are willing to step up when needed and follow your dream for the guild. There are SO many guilds out there now that are 10 or more people that are in need of more members...and more and more guilds starting up. Good luck finding your members and your core group. Keep your chin up
